This is St. Benedict's Junior Ancient F&D of the Bronx, New York. 1989 Northeastern Championship Competition. It was held at Herbert Lehman High School also in the Bronx. "Victory" was composed by John McDonagh in 1961 as a corp exhibition piece. The corps is playing an abridged 1980ish version of "Victory". I don't know the results of the contest in the Junior Ancient class. Interesting to note that I see two of the fife judges are Jim McEleney and Benny Antonelli. They both died a few years later in the mid 90s.

Clark Academy, a special education secondary school in Dobbs Ferry, earlier today. Dr. King, who arrived on opening day of the school district's Spring Students Arts Festival, was taken on a school tour by Greenburgh-North Castle schools superintendent Dr. Edward Placke and Dr. Robert Maher, CEO of St. Christopher's, Inc. The Clark Academy is located on the ground of the St. Christopher's, a secular residential treatment center that serves as home fro many of the district's students.
