O'Neill would like to congratulate team rider Seb Toots for winning Slopestyle at this week's US Open of Snowboarding in Stratton Mountain, VT. With a final score of 1800.95, Seb beat out Norwegian rider Ulrik Badertscher for the top spot. "I've been riding strong all week and today I was able to pull together a few clean runs for the win," said Toots. "It's really cool to take slope at the 30th anniversary of the US Open. After an exciting day of slopestyle finals at the 6Star Burton US Open, Sebastien Toutant (CAN) and Jamie Anderson (USA) have been officially crowned the 2012 TTR Slopestyle World Tour Champions. The 2011/2012 season was packed full of amazing slopestyle competitions around the globe and after today's finals at Stratton Mountain in Vermont, USA, Sebastien and Jamie were awarded with the TTR Slopestyle Tour Champion trophies. Sebastien clinched the title with his win in today's slopestyle competition and Jamie set her title in stone with her first place finish, as well. As the season draws to a close The TTR tour travelled to Livigno, Italy for the 5Star Burn River Jump, which featured both slopestyle and the spectacular big air format. With the TTR tour now in full swing some of the best riders in the world were in attendance, including a tour de force of Scandinavian riders, all vying for valuable ranking points. As the Slopestyle contest got under way the Scandinavians began to dominate the park. Their consistency was rewarded as nine out of the ten top spots were held by Scandinavians. 18 year old Norwegian, Emil Ulsletten, threw down a great run and won the first 5star contest of his career. Next up was the spectacular big air event that gives the burn Riverjump its name. Riders had to take a line through two kickers and then a rail section in front of the crazy italian crowd. In a scenic setting right next to Budapest's 'Hero Square', Pat Burgener won the Big Air contest with a backside 1080 and a stylish cab 900 mutegrab, witnessed by a massive audience. A doublecork 900 plus backside 1080 secured Ulrik Badertscher's second place, followed by Kevin Backström's cab 900 and frontside 1080 bronze run. With 12000 people cheering on their favorite riders, the Varosliget Park venue was at it's full capacity, and provided a pumping party afterwards. Thumping to the beat of the Infected Mushrooms and Freestylers, this is a festival not to be missed, and a great reason to check out the capitol of Hungary.

Ride Team Battles in Beijing: Oakley Shawn White Beijing Air & Style Once again it was time for one of the biggest of the big, big air snowboard events on the planet! The Oakley/Shawn White Beijing Air & Style. On December 3rd the first of two 6 star TTR Air & Style events kicked off in the Beijing Olympic stadium aka "The Birds Nest". The Ride team was well represented with three of our top big air competitors, Sebastien Toutant of Canada, Yuki Kadono of Japan and Clemens Schattschneider of Austria. Sebestian was back to defend his title winning last years Beijing Air & Style with a cab 1260 double cork and was poised to step up his game as this year the riding was sure to be next level. Yuki Kadono the youngster on the team at age 14 held nothing back on the monster of scaffolding that was the jump. Ulrik Badertscher (NOR) won the Oakley Shaun White Air & Style Beijing competition in the Olympic Bird's Nest stadium tonight, followed by 2 Norwegian wingmen Torstein Horgmo and Stale Sandbech. Ulrik received the coveted Air & Style Ring of Glory and 1000 TTR World Ranking points. Ulrik's winning run was a very clean backside rodeo 1260, which was also awarded Red Bull's Best Trick. Torstein Horgmo commented: 'Norway did OK today. There is no secret to it, we just all got juiced and we just follow some bad ass dudes, we just try to keep up.' Favorites Sebastien Toutant (CAN) and Seppe Smits (BEL) both failed to reach the podium like last year. Seppe had the best results in the first round, but didn't manage to land his three attempts in the second round. Seb's cab 1260 double cork wasn't good enough to beat Ulrik's smooth double backside rodeo 12 Indy Grab, which gave him the highest score of the second round.
