Played on Windows 7 with keyboard controls. Recorded with Fraps at 29.97 fps. The only way I could get this game running properly was to use Fraps to limit the frame rate by enabling recording. Otherwise the fps goes all over the place and everything moves way too quickly. Limiting the fps also prevents the crash at the dining room cutscene with Barry, by the way. Anyway, the time looks great but it's only that quick because you can skip door screens on the PC version and the cutscenes move along faster (the console version takes a moment to load each line of dialogue, iirc.). I didn't see any PC speed run on Youtube so I gave it a shot. My movement was pretty sloppy throughout the run and I took a huge wrong turn in the elevator power room at the end, but my goal was to finish in under 55 mins and I nailed it so I'm satisfied. Also worth noting is that I didn't carry any healing items until after the spider boss in the caves. I was one hit away from death and had to dodge hunters...

The culties at Westboro do a lot, a lot of horrid things. But this makes my stomach turn. A little history: Jeffery Klingsick just got back from serving in Afghanistan. He was traveling from Camp Pendleton to his home in Derby, Kansas (exchanging tweets with excited loved ones along the way) when he decides to do a little sight-seeing at the Grand Canyon. Well, he got too close to the edge and fell 30 feet. He got back up and was dazed and stumbled to his death, 600 feet below. Because Derby, Kansas was where the amazing guys and gals of the Patriot Guard got together, Fred Phelps himself says he and his cronies will picket this fine young man's funeral. "Summertime" by G. Gershwin was part of the inspiration for this solo. Listening to this piece of music can give the performer an idea of the mood for For "Blue Wood." This is another of those solos I wanted to record. I completed four recordings, but this one gave me the biggest fits; either someone would walk in while I was recording, I would foget to turn off my phone, I would make dumb mistakes. There are parts I'm not particularly pleased with the way I played, but I finally got through it. (This took me 12 takes!! Sheesh!!) Hopefully, if any one out there is playing this, it will give you an idea of how it sounds.
