This was composed over four days in May of 2012. What began life as an attempt to put some lyrics I had written to music very quickly reverted to an instrumental-only short work that blends synthetic versions of real instruments and fully synthetic instruments, all from General MIDI sounds of the TimGM6mb.sf2 SoundFont. While I have at times been disdainful of popular music built upon a repetition of four chords (very often a I-IV-vi-V sequence), I went into this wanting to see if I could squeeze something more significant out of such humble beginnings. Using a vi-IV-IV sequence in E major and an ABCABC macro-form, I have attempted to add variety to the simple harmonic repetition through constantly changing textures, colors, and dynamic levels. The result is minimalistic and manifestly popular in shape, but I hope the listener will find new and interesting things in repeated listenings.

It works amazingly well with GWTW! ;D Okay so like I've previously done in the past, I made a video in Rhett's point of view the other day and then I thought it was Scarlett's turn again. New York Times Washington correspondent, David Sanger, author of a soon-to-be-released book on the Afghan war, notes that when President Obama ordered a troop surge in Afghanistan in 2009, with a firm timetable for withdrawal, he did so with the stated intention, that win or lose, the troops would be withdrawn by the set deadline. This unfortunate fact prompted a panel discussion as to whether the President's decision was "conscionable" or not. Of course, the word "conscionable", does not exist when it comes to the President's political aspirations, but that's besides the point. The panel also discussed some other significant points.

I'm still riding Lanzi! We have a show next weekend! She is doing realllllly well! She went from being ridden like 2 times since the summer, to being ridden almost everyday and she's really improving! Since she's still so out of shape we are only jumping 2'3 at the show but we are hopefully going to be going higher this summer! She's really sweet and really tests your consistancy as a rider! Before I do a Betty update UI was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a show name for her. I wanted to combine hwhat her name means (Lands or Landin Italian) with something or at least her personality. Here's what I have so far..
