We are at the intersection of Old Post Road and Grand Street in Croton on Hudson, where we see the coolest stoplight in Westchester County. The stoplight is one of a handful of dummy mast lights still left in the United States. One exists a few miles north in Beacon, while another exists further north in Canajoharie. A fourth one exists in the small town of Albion, Rhode Island. This light was built in the 1920's, and was made before hanging lights were invented. It is great to see that this light still works. Notice the sound of the clicks of the relays as the light turns from green to yellow to red to green. The relay box is made by the Marblelite Company of New York. I am aspiring to become a professional racer, but I doi not have the money to get my career started. My family has recently lost a considerable amount of money, and has left me without the ability to upgrade my bike to let its true potential to shine. I ride mostly at a home made "supercross" track with my neighbor. I also ride hillclimbs with my other friends. The way my bike is now, hillclimbs and woods riding is miserable, with a little extra money i can get much more enjoyment out of the sport.
