It's just a Franceformer in a thoroughly insulated ammo can, but I'll take credit where credit is due. My control panel works fairly well, and I'm working on a second one of these. The new model will allow you to drive it as a standalone, or by controlling the input voltage externally with a variac. Ultimately I plan to parallel the two for even larger sparks. It was early nighttime, dark, me and my mother out on balcony, 7th top floor, with partly view of sky above, having watched fireworks, which occurres all year around at a near located university. A good while after the fireworks had ended, up ahead slightly in the direction of the university appeared a ufo. A ring/circle in black (not pitch black but an magnetic type like the colour of hematite crystal or gravitational shadow to describe it), "see through" = camouflage or hollow middle, perfectly round geometrical, clear and consistent in shape and appearence, quite large about the size of a normal football field.
