www.videolifestyle.com intentionally shot this clip with the emount 18-200 and the FS700, some parts of the video, gain was all the way up to 21db due to shooting at 200 fps. some parts gain was at 15db due to overcranking to 50 frames per second. full review soon on the FS700 and raw footage soon on the FS700 but in the meantime i can confidently say the FS100 performed better in low light than the FS700 due to its lower pixel sensor count. note shooting in 50hz therefore frames are no longer 240 460 ,960 but rather 200 400 and 800 frames.. more from the videocobra soon....

Sony has announced the NEX_FS700 pro-grade 4k-capable E-mount camcorder. The camera will initially offer 1080p video, switchable between 50Hz and 60Hz frame rates (including 60p, 50p, 60i and 24p). A later upgrade will enable 4k capture and Raw output from its built-in 3G-SDI connector. The camera is also able to capture slow-motion footage, shooting at up to 960 fps at reduced resolution (240fps in Full HD). It also offers built-in 2- and 4-stop ND filters (which can be combined), to allow lenses to be used at wide apertures in bright light. The camera is based around a 11.6MP 'Super-35mm' sensor. The Super 35mm format is 13.3mm x 23.6mm - essentially the same as a 16:9 crop taken from an APS-C sensor. EOS HD is reporting a price of around $8k. The camcorder delivers Full-HD quality images at 120 and 240 frames per second in an 8 or 16 seconds burst mode respectively. Canon T2i 35mm FIlm LIke High Dynamic Range Test with Magic Lantern Hack. Learning more about blending exposures. This is a 5-stop difference in exposure. ISO 100 and ISO 3200 blended. In regular recording mode ISO 1600-3200 was require to get anything other than almost total blackness outisde (no lights outside other than the one inside shining out). The problem with ISO 1600-3200 though was that made the bright area blow out very badly and the one in front isn't even the one with a bulb in it. This HDR feature could be fantastic if only: 1: It were of identical frames (useful for fast movement) 2: The T2i's high ISO performance were better. 3: If the codec/compression/resolution was better and graded better.

SOURCE interactive Arts & music festival changed my life for the better. It was a place where I finally felt I could be exactly who I wanted to be, and was celebrated for it. The more involved in the festival you were, the more INVOLVED in the festival you were. I dressed up like Fred Flintstone during the day & Godzilla at night. I shot instant photos and gave them out as gifts, spreading my message of Analogue Love. I made a bunch of great new friends and strengthened my bonds with my old ones. I went to SOURCE with my fellow producer Stacy Lopez to get super junglefied before filming the jungle scenes of our movie (also starring Stacy) Jungle Girl. It was the perfect place for us to connect and conceptualize. I know our film will be better for it. SOURCE allowed me to look at things exactly how I want to see them. Which brings me to my little film here. Originally I had brought 60 rolls of film, not knowing what to expect or how much I was going to shoot. After carrying my camera...
