We're trying to teach our girl to try chewing more before spitting out food. We also encourage her not to bang her silverware against plates because it's very loud. Instead of learning the lessons, however, she just mimics our instructions. It's fortunate she's a well-behaved, easy-going child, because we haven't quite mastered parental coaching.
