ive spent a long time looking to images of dimes rig and this is what ive came up with. however this is only the distortion the celan sound is my own clean sound the equipment i used is: washburn dime 333 dimeslime guitar dunlop cfh wah pedal (even though i didnt use it) artec noise gate into the randall rg75g3 plus amplifier and then my artec 8 band eq just to note. this is the closest ive gotten in ages. in person it sounds very close (with the correct settings ) how ever i changed it slightly for my tone the dime tone settings are: gain 8 bass 8 mids 4 sweep 4 treble 6.5 reverb 0 and then into the eq pedal that is set up like : 100 hz : +3 db 170 hz : -1db 280 hz : -4db 500 hz : -6db 800 hz : -6 db 1.4 khz : -3 db 2.3 khz : -1db 5.0 khz: +4db i hope this helps all you in getting closer to the dime tone

This is an animation I created for my Final Major Project at Kingston College, had about 5/6 weeks to come up with the idea, plan & finally animate, not finished but this is the 1st complete draft :D Eventually I will add extra sounds & a little bit more to the seconds of darkness at the end. The music is Mind Heist by Zack Hemsey (Inception Soundtrack) and is pretty much just a placeholder till I can find a better music track :) (For some reason rendering as a .MOV file made the top go all funky D:)
