Sewer Scope Inspection from manhole 1 in front of generator building to 8" main sewer in parking lot east. This sewer was spot repaired sometime in the past, this repair has sunken and caused two separations that may or may not have leaked. The failed repair needs to be fixed properly, with bedding to code and proper connectors, to prevent this from happening again. The problem section is marked on the asphalt. The tie in to the 8" running north & south looks good. All spots have been located and marked in the parking lot if you want to take soil core samples.

Due to the expense and fuel requirements of lifting a large objects off the surface of Mars with almost 40% Earth Gravity and a thin atmosphere... it's beyond current budgets and pushes current technology to the limit to the point that it may never happen for 25 or 30 years unless we go on one way missions, each person can make it easier on the next by adding more habitats on the surface, eventually forming the first Martian City, the first Martian gardens could be made by the first settlers using inflatable greenhouses. Nestled between mesas, this image shows the valley floor where eroded rocky and/or soil debris appears to have flowed viscously from the mesa walls across the valley to merge. A leading theory is that ice and snow became entrained with the soil debris as it shed from the mesa. This combined ice-rich debris then flowed slowly downhill. "Rock glaciers" on Earth are an analogous landform that flow viscously like a glacier, lubricated by ice trapped in the pore spaces. The image shows light toned viscous debris that overlays a darker toned surface. Both surfaces sport irregular fracture patterns and evidence that substantial erosion has since taken place. The upper viscous-flow surface also contains abundance small, regular polygonal patterns. Such patterns are commonplace in permafrost on Earth, and are typically considered strong evidence for shallow subsurface ice. Erosion and the formation of small scarps reveal a multitude of layers within the subsurface. Such structure is unusual...

Hamas would not allow anyone, not even the International Red Cross, to see Gilad and evaluate his health. For 1940 days, Gilad saw no one and no one saw Gilad. StandWithUs wishes that someday, Palestinian children will also be freed from the oppressive rule of Hamas, which has doomed them to learn hatred instead of hope, war instead of peace. May Gilad be a symbol for them, too, and for people throughout the world who long for freedom. On June 1, 2009, Private William "Andy" Long was killed and Private Quinton Ezeagwula was wounded outside a Little Rock Army recruitment center in a terror attack. It was the first Al Qaeda murder on US soil since 9/11. Andy's killer, Carlos Bledsoe, who changed his name to Abdulhakim Mohammed when he converted to Islam, admitted to targeting US soldiers as part of what he termed his jihad. Andy and Quinton were denied the Purple Heart award by the US Army because of "insufficient evidence". The Justice Department decided not to bring federal terrorism charges and classified Andy's murder as a street crime. We call upon the US Army to recognize the sacrifice made by Andy Long and Quinton Ezeagwula and award them the Purple Heart.

This year we are trying Fukuoka permaculture garden with mulched raised beds. This technique improves soil quality in a way similar to the natural forest system. Deep mulching prevents soil compaction and allows all part plants not used to remain in the garden after they have died, contributing it's nutrients back into the soil.
