In this presentation Puck will show the RASMAC , and fooled the OSX Snow Leopard software , that it's a Macbook pro 5.1 -of course it's not..and it's not an emulator it's just real and works very very fast with the 1 GB ram and the 64 mb Videocard..all running on the Abit AS8 motherboard .. This project has been keepin me bussy for many months or even years , cause i never ever succeeded to get this MOtherboard running Leopard snow. It's almost like EUREKA when the machine started up to the desktop, and the feeing and kick is almost like a bungee jump , exciting and very great. Now you are like..i wanna try this aswel.. You could , with the OSX86 10.6.0 version with i3 support (it's out there somewhere and NO i don't have a link and NO i don't share Apple Software -this is just for testing ) When creating this , the settings went wrong many times and i had to reformat at least 10 times so many shots made of the settings sellection..but non are reliable cause i cannot remember witch...

The framerate on this video is a little low at moments; blame it on my screen capture software. The real thing runs at a crisp 60 fps with gobs and gobs of CPU to spare. After losing almost three days to a really stupid bug (mistake on my part due to some early testing code), I now have what I had intended to accomplish over the weekend: basic controls on an animated 2D billboarded sprite running around on some simple modeled, textured terrain. A very basic collision detection model (2D only, as this is for a theoretical "2D" game) is in place and usable, as you can see. Hidden behind the scenes is the basic, well, scene hierarchy into which stages can be constructed. Further updates will expand on that. I have a decent workflow set up now: basic texture creation in GIMP, followed by modeling and UV mapping in Blender, and then export to .OBJ for use.
