Sebastian Toutant's backside triple cork 1440 at Superpark 16 off of the Seven Springs jump. This guy can ride for real. It was amazing to see live how dialed he was on this during Snowboarder's Superpark 16 at Mt Bachelor presented by Gatorade.

SEB found the perfect jump at Snowboarders Superpark 16 at Mt. Bachelor Oregon to once again try a Backside 1440 Triple Cork. This was only Sebs third attempt at a triple. The first Triple Seb landed last year at the Redbull performance camp his second attempt was going for broke at the Innsbruck Air & Style where he came very close to landing but was a completely different style of jump. Condition were perfect this day and i would have to say one of the cleanest landed tricks we saw all of Superpark! Congrats Seb....cant wait to see whats next!!!! ridesnowboards.com

Trying a new trick like a triple cork can be a scary thing to get yourself into. It's not something that can be landed on the first try. Luckily, last year when Mark McMorris was attempting to be one of the few people who have landed one, he had a good sized and fairly safe jump at his disposal. Not everyone in the 80's had a mullet, but it's safe to say that over 80% of them did. Back then, snowboarding was all about making it down the hill in one piece with both feet in your bindings and getting above the lip in hand-dug halfpipes. Things are a little different these days, what with machine groomed superpipes, triple corks and all, but you have to start somewhere. The 30th US Open of Snowboarding runs from March 7-10 at Stratton Mountain Vermont. Come and watch in person, or check out the live stream, either way it will be entertaining and history making. Backside Cork 720 (almost over-rotated to a double, had I held the grab) and a nearly landed triple backflip (missed the grab and started too low on the run in) on our own built kicker in the backcountry. Will land these soon enough. :)

Bobby Brown is an American milling slopestyle and big air competitions kier specialized in. He is sponsored by Salomon, Under Armour, Smith Optics, Breckenridge Resort and Red Bull. Bobby was the first multiple variations of a triple flip or to perform triple Cork during a workout in Squaw Valley, California. He became notorious after winning both the Slopestyle and Big Air events in Winter X Games XIV, registering a perfect score of 100 in the last. Bobby is the only person to have ever landed a Switch Double 1440, or a Triple Flat spin Misty. This recently rated 3Star TTR event has been bringing riders together to shred and have fun for fourteen seasons. It's also a good place to see whose going to be the hot ticket in the near future. Heck, even Shaun White has won this event. With what is being called the best course in years, riders were going huge with back to back 1080s, double corks, and more. Considered by many to be the most innovative Big Air skier in the world, Brown looked the part on a frigid Rocky Mountain night despite not throwing the vaunted triple cork that so many expected to see. Instead, he used flawlessly executed double-flip variations, including a switch double misty 1260 and a switch double cork 1440. Brown's two-run combined score of 88 points distanced him from Mahler's 84 and Wells' 83. "I feel good," Brown said after his win. "But then I see Kai almost land a switch double misty 1620 [which would have been the first in competition], come bolts to his feet, and I'm like, 'Whoa, I've gotta learn some stuff.'
