19 Maggio 2012: sveglia alle 03.00 da Molinella (BO) e via dritti filati verso l'Austria! Obiettivo Stubai per una snowboardata fuori stagione! Neve bellissima, qualche freeride, tanto sole e divertimento. Davvero non male! Dopo più di 800 km ed una giornata davvero stancante, si torna a casa e si va a letto. Ore 04.04 di nuovo svegli di soprassalto per il terremoto che fa imbizzarrire il letto e la casa intera. Insomma: un tranquillo week end di paura!

In bright sunshine on Kitzsteinhorn Mountain, the favourites lived up to their role on Saturday, March 24th during the Freeride World Tour Qualifier ***. They exhibited strong performances among the international starting lineup and staked their claim to participating in the next season of the Freeride World Tour. The 70 participating freeriders from 12 nations put on an exciting show in four disciplines (men's skiing and snowboarding as well as women's skiing and snowboarding) for the spectators.

Bâlea Lake is „the spot" for snowboarding and freeskiing in Romania. Situated in the middle of Transylvanian Alps, with an elevation of 2400 m, is a wild resort with only one cable-car, no slopes and an immense rideable terrain. It is also the cradle of freeriding in Romania, it is where it all begun back in the days, and also where evolution is takeing place. The resort was made by the will of the communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, because he wanted to have a house near his biggest project, The Transfagarasan, one of the craziest mountain roads in the world. Time has gone, Ceausescu died, and the mountain got back to the nature lovers

Im Laufe der Jahre sind eine Reihe von Nachfolgerspielen erschienen, die allesamt von Electronic Arts entwickelt und unter dem Label EA Sports Big veröffentlicht wurden. Charakteristisch für die Spielereihe sind die unrealistischen Tricks und die unnatürliche Länge der Pisten. Ziel ist in allen Spielen, Rennen auf der Piste zu gewinnen, indem der Spieler entweder als erster durchs Ziel fährt oder durch Tricks die meisten Punkte erzielt.
