Developer Tequila Works and Microsoft Game Studios have put out another delightfully dark and incredibly bleak video for Deadlight today, showing more of the 2.5D side-scrolling post-apocalyptic zombie survival horror that looks like it could be a major sleeper hit on the Xbox Live Arcade. Consisting of some zombie shooting, platform leaping and a relentlessly dark yarn, Deadlight casts you as lone survivor, Randall Wayne making his way through the rubble and bombed-out shells of buildings. It looks to us like a blend of Limbo, Shadow Complex and Flashback. In short, Deadlight has masses of potential. It'll be coming to XBLA this summer. Check out the latest gameplay video.

In this video you can see how when recording drums without the cymbals the drummer must air drum the parts. Afterwards you would set up the cymbals and record them separately. This technique allows for zero bleed from cymbals into drum microphones so your able to play with compression more. In this video I had the drummer using his hi-hats to keep better feel, but in most cases even the hi-hats will be removed to only record the drum shells. * Note: the audio is from the iPhone that recorded the video.
