Pop-star Lady Gaga was recently banned from performing an upcoming concert in Indonesia based on concerns that the singer's provocative clothing and dance moves would corrupt the country's young people. Of course, in reality, a two-hour Lady Gaga show wouldn't do nearly the level of damage to one's spirit, soul or psyche as two-thousand years of Islamic rule have done throughout the entire Muslim world. So in a day and age when hard-line Sharia Law is quickly spreading across Southeast Asia, a Lady Gaga concert is the least of Indonesia's problems.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark - On Mohammed's birthday, Denmark's Muslims marched to the city square under a banner that said "Islam is peace and love." But elements of Denmark's Muslim community have radicalized. Two years ago on the same spot as a peaceful demonstration, Muslims met a pro-Israel demonstration with Hitler salutes. There were shouts in Arabic of "takbir," which means "conquest," and "kill the Jews." Fostering Radicalism Americans may think of Denmark as the tough nation that stood up to Islam over the publication of Mohammed cartoons. But Denmark is also infected with the some of the same multiculturalism that has been declared a failure in other European nations because it can foster Islamic radicalism. Now, Copenhagen city government is allowing construction of a Shia mosque, which will be funded in part by the radical regime in Iran. Iranian refugees to Denmark who fled the Islamic radicalism in Iran now face the nightmare of that radicalism following them to Copenhagen....

Sheikh Abu 'Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Saalih ibn Muhammad ibn al-Uthaymeen at-Tamimi (Arabic: أبو عبد الله محمد بن صالح بن محمد بن سليمان بن عبد الرحمن العثيمين التميمي) (March 9, 1925 -- January 10, 2001) was one of the most prominent Sunni Islamic scholars of the latter half of the twentieth century. Born in Saudi Arabia, he memorised the Qur'an at an early age and studied under well known scholars of the time including: Abd ar-Rahman as-Saa'di, Muhammad Ash-Shanqeeti, and 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Baaz. During his many years of study, he became renowned for his knowledge in fiqh, eventually compiling over fifty books on the subject.
