Senator Lindsey Graham said on the floor of the US Senate that he was pleased with tougher language in the Iran Threat Reduction Act of 2011 that passed the Senate by voice vote Monday. "The bill clearly states that all options are on the table when it comes to stopping Iran from obtaining a nuclear capability," Graham said.

Sen. Bob Bennett, who co-sponsored the Wyden Bennett "Healthy Americans" Act, a federal healthcare plan which included a federal individual mandate, was overwhelmingly defeated by the Tea Party in Utah. The Tea Party swept dozens of new Congressional seats into Congress, sending the GOP running away from their prior support of a federal individual mandate. Mitt Romney, Orrin Hatch, Sen. Grassley, Sen. Graham and others who had supported the Wyden Bennett bill immediatly began opposing the mandates in ObamaCare as "unconstitutional."
