This award winning, magazine featured 1970 Plymouth Hemicuda continues our tradition of presenting you, the serious collector, with top notch investment cars. Assembled at Chrysler's Hamtramck, Michigan manufacturing facility on November 9th of 1969 and delivered to Holiday Chrysler-Plymouth in Austin, Minnesota, this spectacular Hemi Cuda is the beneficiary of a frame-off, reference grade restoration which was conducted by well-known Mopar guru Roger Gibson. That restoration, which took roughly three years to complete, utilized many NOS parts to return the car back to a 100% showroom fresh state; and in fact, its details are so accurate that it was featured, along with Roger Gibson's concours level work, in a three part Mopar Muscle tech article which is included with the sale. Under the green shaker hood, Roger Gibson's work was carried out to the highest standards using correct factory build techniques, date coded components and the car's original 426 cubic inch Hemi V8. Next you'll find an expertly applied paint job which uses vivid Burnt Orange and smooth Cameo Beige urethane to stellar effect by duplicating the car's factory two-tone pattern. And last but certainly not least you'll discover crisp finishing work, like razor-sharp eyebrows that stretch over its front fenders and tight beads at the edges of those fenders, which provide the kind of solid presence that's only found on carefully crafted old school metal. By now it's probably pretty obvious this Chevy 210 was built to be seen; but thanks to the 502...

This awesome Galaxie 500 will look just as cool rolling down the road, turn just as many heads at the local drive in and, thanks to a thorough shakedown by our RK Motors Charlotte service department, is ready to provide you with miles of carefree cruising! Assembled at Ford's Chicago, Illinois manufacturing facility in May of 1970, this pristine Ford Galaxie 500 survivor was originally shipped to Paul Heuring Motors in Hobart, Indiana and sold to Ray Eggers of nearby Valparaiso, Indiana. Since that sunny summer day 42 years ago, it has led a pampered three owner life that, judging by its mostly original Green Metallic paint, was free of exposure to inclement weather, significant wet road driving and long-term outside storage. Today, the car is in overall outstanding condition displaying a glossy finish that is characterized by...

In May of 1971, a customer placed an order for a HEMI-equipped 1971 Dodge Charger R/T at Glavic Dodge in Wickliffe, Ohio. It was late in the production cycle and the customer was told that his order would probably not be filled. Two weeks later, he was contacted by Chrysler who agreed to build the car. On June 18th, the Bright White Charger left the Lynch Road assembly plant. By 1974, the Dodge had traded hands for the first time. It was decommissioned as a daily driver and tucked away in a rented garage where it was eventually discovered by a 14 year old boy on his bike. The son of a racer, he recognized the R/T stripes and knew the car was somewhat rare. After some detective work, he found the owner and made his initial contact. Though the Charger was not for sale at that point, the conversation proved to be a valuable one. After staying in touch for well over a decade, the opportunity to own the Charger finally arose in the early 1990s. The boy, now in his mid-twenties, bought...

Envisioned by its owner as the perfect mix of classic muscle car attitude and first class modern performance, this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner is one of the finest Mopar pro-tourers we've ever featured! This Road Runner's complete rotisserie restoration began when Steve Koepke of Classic Ventures in Woodstock, Illinois meticulously stripped its solid original body, welded up a set of high quality quarters and block sanded every one of its facets until he had a smooth, consistent canvas. Once that canvas was fully prepped from top to bottom, a slick coat of Charcoal Gray urethane was expertly applied under bright red, horizontal pin stripes and buffed to the kind of brilliant wet-look shine that can only be achieved with today's advanced paint technology. The result is one super slick Mopar muscle car which wraps brutal performance in killer good looks! Richard Childress Racing Street Performance partnered with General Motors to create RC1 Camaros to pay homage to legendary racer, Dale Earnhardt. The latest rendition of the RC1 series came just one model year after the Camaro beat all odds and made a successful comeback following its deletion in 2002. This 2011 Camaro SS/RC1 is based on the 2011 Camaro SS, but features much more than any normal SS on the market. It not only features a stylish design, but it also packs a mean bite under the hood. This particular 2011 Camaro SS/RC1 was not offered to the public, but instead Richard Childress Racing (RCR) built several of the RC1 Camaros and shipped them straight to RK Motors Charlotte. The RC1 is the first of the series and the least powerful of the three. Of course, being the least powerful of the RC-series is not saying much, as the top-end RC3 pumps out a concrete pummeling 750 horsepower. The best thing is that this special edition Chevy Camaro is in a price range that a working...

If you're one of the growing number of enthusiasts who's ready for a really well done Yenko tribute that's ready to rock, this '69 Camaro is exactly what you've been waiting for! Beginning life as an authentic X44 striper which was covered in a tepid coat of GM code 65 Olympic Gold lacquer, this awesome F1 Camaro recently underwent a complete frame-off restoration that rebuilt or replaced every one of its parts. The car presently wears a slick coat of GM code 10 Tuxedo Black urethane that's accented by fresh white Yenko decals; and when you take one look down its sinister panels, you'll understand why virtually NO ONE misses its bland, original pigment. Lift this well-done Yenko tribute's glossy black hood and you'll find a 454 cubic inch monster block which has been cleverly disguised to fool all but the most enlightened bowtie fans. Painstakingly restored to showroom fresh condition, this 1968 GTO convertible is a pure bred muscle car that wraps a numbers matching drivetrain and a ton open air style in correct Verdoro exterior paint that proves exactly why green is the color of envy! Assembled in Fremont California and originally delivered to Hockett Auto Sales in Grass Valley, California this broad shouldered GTO has traveled to virtually every corner of the country with previous owners living anywhere from Arizona and Illinois to Florida and Ohio. When the current owner took possession of the car, he financed a multi-year frame off restoration which amounted to just over $40K, bringing his total investment dangerously close to the six figure range. In typical Pontiac fashion, this GTO's correct GM code Q paint is one of its most striking virtues; and while the gold metal flake in original coats of Verdoro Green was almost ALWAYS dull, this car's fresh two-stage urethane sparkles like liquid sunshine. The F-Series is Ford's longest-running bestselling nameplate. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that trucks like this frame-off built 1955 Ford F100 are commanding serious attention in the collector market place. With killer paint, a stout small block and a great custom interior, this truck checks off all the right boxes while offering tremendous value. The paintwork is a stunning combination of gloss black and Laser Blue Metallic. Separating those colors is a silver and gray graphic outlined by a hand painted orange stripe. At the nose, a purple overlay shows like a reflection. From a distance, details found in the door and tailgate graphic appear three dimensional -- a testament to the quality of work at hand. Wrapping entirely around the cab, bed and even into the door jambs, the custom paint work on this '55 is thorough and shows well from any angle. Unlike many custom trucks, this F100 retains its stock profile. Only a handful of tasteful modifications have been...

Maybe it's just me, but when I first laid eyes on this killer '67 Cobra I couldn't help but think that its Lincoln Black paint and glossy pewter stripes speak a little more highly of its monstrous performance credentials than some traditional, yet tired, blue and white or red and white paint scheme. You see, virtually every part of this roadster is immaculate and EVERYTHING about its build has been highly planned and brilliantly executed; therefore, a predictably 'vintage' paint job, as cool as those are, simply wouldn't do the car justice. A simple one armed lift of the light fiberglass hood reveals a freshly honed and decked 509 cubic inch aluminum Donovan V8 which utilizes a 4.500 bore and a 4.000 stroke to turn stout 11 to 1 compression into a dyno proven 597 horsepower and 672 lb./ft. of torque! At the top of that killer engine, air from a chrome K&N X-Stream Airflow air filter mixes with 93 octane pump gas that's supplied by an 830 cfm Barry Grant double pumper 4-barrel...

For the better part of two decades, Precision Preparation, Inc. (PPI) and 2006 Off-Road Hall of Fame inductee Ivan "Ironman" Stewart were a nearly unbeatable force in the highly competitive world of off-road racing. Together, they claimed 88 victories including numerous Baja 500's and even one Baja 1000. That win, along with four Baja 500's were accomplished using chassis number 015. Built in 1993 to replace the successful but aging 010 chassis, the 015 would become the Master's thesis and, ultimately, final product of a remarkably successful off-road team. RK Motors Charlotte is proud to offer the unique experience of owning this incredible piece of motorsports history. At the core of this truck is a Lexus-derived aluminum 302 cubic inch V8. Like the Lexus engine, the race version retains a...

With the universal appeal of some of the best parking lot eye candy in our showroom and the road going prowess of a late model sports car, this slick 1934 Ford Coupe is one of the best road ready hot rods your money can buy! Then, in the name of great looks and universal appeal, a top notch coat of bright red urethane was meticulously applied, sealed in a glossy clearcoat shell and buffed to an incredible shine. The result is one fine looking street rod which displays nary a ripple or misaligned panel anywhere, presents a finish that glistens like glass, and possesses just enough authenticity to satisfy both the most skeptical old school hot rod fan and the harshest scoring judge.
