Part 4. Showcases the guitar solo from song Lost World. There's alternate picking, then there is down picking, economy picking, sweep picking. This is aggressive picking! See how simple blues scale line (A minor pentatonic with added flat 5 aka blue note) turns into an aggressive and mean lick! Downpicking is not for rhythm guitar only. Downpicking and pinchharmonics as being used for the sake of expression. And to really get this tone, you really need to start picking it hard. Play the notes like you mean it! You can download the jam track here: mrfastfinger.net This was "lost footage" was actually shot exactly one year ago. Right after finishing the recording of the solo. The actual album take of the solo can be seen in the beginning of this video. in the beginning the audio comest from the album master. Jack Leroy "Jackie" Wilson, Jr. (June 9, 1934 -- January 21, 1984) was an American singer and performer. Known as "Mr. Excitement", Wilson was important in the transition of rhythm and blues into soul. He was considered a master showman, one of the most dynamic and influential singers and performers in R&B and rock history.[1][2] Gaining fame in his early years as a member of the R&B vocal group Billy Ward and His Dominoes, he went solo in 1957 and recorded over 50 hit singles that spanned R&B, pop, soul, doo-wop and easy listening. During a 1975 benefit concert, he collapsed on-stage from a heart attack and subsequently fell into a coma that persisted for nearly nine years until his death in 1984. By this time, he had become one of the most influential artists of his generation.

The Shirelles were an African American girl group that achieved popularity in the early 1960s. They consisted of schoolmates Shirley Owens (later Shirley Alston-Reeves), Doris Coley (later Doris Kenner-Jackson), Addie "Micki" Harris (later Addie Harris McPherson), and Beverly Lee. They have been described as either the first African-American girl group to top the Billboard Hot 100, or the first girl group overall, with the song "Will You Love Me Tomorrow". Founded in 1957 for a talent show at their high school, they were signed by Florence Greenberg of Tiara Records. Their first single, "I Met Him on a Sunday", was released by Tiara and licensed by Decca Records in 1958. After a brief and unsuccessful period with Decca, they went with Greenberg to her newly formed company, Scepter Records. Working with Luther Dixon, the group rose to fame with "Tonight's the Night". After a successful period of collaboration with Dixon and promotion by Scepter, with seven Hot 20 hits, The Shirelles...
