Beogradska filharmonija - Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra www.bgf.rs Posle tri decenije Zagrebačka filharmonija gostovala je u Beogradu, u subotu 19. maja u 20č na Kolarcu, u okviru ciklusa regionalne saradnje tri filharmonije Pika -Točka -Tačka. Orkestar je izveo Ravelov Valcer, Rokoko varijacije Čajkovskog i Mendelsonovu Italijansku simfoniju uz solistkinju Moniku Leskovar i dirigenta Dmitrija Kitajenka. After three decades, the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra gave a concert in Belgrade on Saturday, 19 May at 8.00 PM in Kolarac, as part of the regional cooperation cycle involving three philharmonic orchestras, titled Pika -Točka -Tačka (Dot-Dot-Dot). Orchestra and soloist Monika Leskovac, conducted by Dmitri Kitayenko, performed Ravel's La valse, Tchaikovsky's Rococo variations and Mendelssohn's Italian Symphony. Rico was one of the founding members of Filipino rock band Rivermaya, in varying roles as vocalist, keyboardist, guitarist, and main songwriter from 1993 to 2007. Aside from his songwriter credits in his solo album and in Rivermaya, Blanco also arranged and wrote music for various side projects such as the United Nations MDG theme "Tayo Tayo Rin", The Philippine Department of Tourism theme "Biyahe Tayo" (both of which were performed by veteran Filipino musicians, such as Freddie Aguilar, The Apo Hiking Society, Lea Salonga, and Sharon Cuneta). The performance was part of Renown Health's Healing Arts Program. The mission of the Reno Philharmonic Youth Orchestras (RPYO) is to provide an exceptional orchestral experience where students learn, share and enjoy the performance of music to the benefit of the community. The Reno Philharmonic's three youth orchestras serve nearly 200 talented young musicians selected by competitive regional auditions annually. The Youth Symphony Orchestra (YSO) was founded in 1995 to give a high-level orchestral experience to middle and high school students from northern Nevada and northern California.
