The Dimples (affectionately known as The Dimps) were part of the Don Arden "Galaxy" stable in Carnaby Street alongside Small Faces, Nashville Teens, The Move, Attack, Love Affair, Chris Jagger and Amen Corner etc. Initially a Scunthorpe based Mod band, formed by Gladwin and Wincott in 1964. Joined in 1965 by Greg Tomlinson from the Chechakos and Craig Austin from the Imps (briefly featuring singer Iain Matthews - Matthews Southern Comfort/Pyramid/Fairport Convention and Plainsong).
