© afantini.deviantart.com Alessandro Fantini was born in 1978 in Sangro Valley, Italy. His creative inclination arose during his early childhood when he began drawing comics and writing tales influenced by gothic authors like Edgar Allan Poe and Sheridan le Fanu. Disliking art school teachings, he learned oil painting techniques by himself and started painting his first canvases in 1993. During the nineties he developed his own visionary style blending the surrealist attitude with hyperrealism and Flemish painting methods. In 2002 he graduated with first class honours in modern literature with a thesis about the relationship between Italian culture and the PreRaphaelism. Since 1998 he wrote, directed and produced movies and music videos digitally, composing also their soundtracks and writing lyrics for songs performed by himself. His short movies "Tiranti Transit" and "The road to Shakti" were broadcasted in 2006 and 2007 on European Sky Channels. He wrote and illustrated the book...

Composed and Produced by Pierre Souq (All Instruments / Appalachian Karma) (c) April 2012 I Found a Key-Flower in The Blind Alley of my Dreams (Lyrics) I see the spring of a new day coming. Where am I ? I'm a prey Below the pines, looking for a key : A key-flower, a key for a dream. Something is real. Something is wrong. Something is burning into my song, Into my song, into my song, oh I see a station which looks like a jail There is no big train to go for a sail Only prisoners, only workers Breaking the stones with heavy hammers. Balls and chains, stones and pain To make a road to go somewhere, To go somewhere, to go somewhere, but where I know a dead end A blind alley Soot on our hands No hands here to prey Dust for miners Charkoal and dust Follow the climber In God we trust No direction Where is the sky ? We don't see the sun We lost our eyes Our sky is not blue God has no head Our faith is true Our faith is true Our faith is true Cause we live with the dead A new beginning...
