Picnicface is now homeless. www.savepicnicface.com After years of building an online audience with YouTube hits including the meme-spawning Powerthirst, the sketch troupe Picnicface of Halifax, Canada was picked up for 13 episodes of a sketch show on the Comedy Network (executive producers Mark McKinney and Garry Campbell). It aired in the fall of 2011, was widely praised by the comedy industry, and continues to garner a large and growing group of hardcore fans. The show worked. Last week Bell Media (owner of the Comedy Network) cancelled the show. Picnicface believes this move to be short sighted. We are worried for the executives responsible. Regret is a terrible thing. We are also pretty sure the renewal was a very close call as negotiations were far down the road, there was a strong lobbying effort by many supportive executives at the Comedy Network, and viewer ratings were steadily growing. Picnicface needs your help to encourage Bell to reconsider.

As roles of parents are constantly changing, it can sometimes be a challenge to determine what the role of the Father actually should be. The Gregory Brothers are a US musical group that characterise their music as "Country & Soul, Folk & Roll".
