Last song from a fine set of self penned songs, when Jelske played support for Jan Akkerman & band (with guest Eric Vloeimans), when she performed at the Gebouw-T venue, in Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands, on Saturday, May 19th, 2012. A fine performance, though some background noise from audience, due to low volume setting of sound system. From Jelske's website (google translated): I am a 26-year-old singer-songwriter. I sang in several bands, including the cover band 'Khick'. I am also in the background, always busy writing songs. This has resulted in 10 English songs on my debut album 'Breeze'. This video was made for our English class, where we had to advertise a product. However, instead of just making an ad (this trailer), we even created the product (the musical itself). Since we tackled the issue of stereotyping during the semester and covered the Media & Pop Culture theme, we decided to do a high school musical parody, to Rebecca Black's infamous song "Friday". Banal lyrics, tacky production, corny scenarios and all the cliches that you might think of are found either in this trailer or the musical itself. Hope you enjoy!
