In memory of US Marine Corps. 2nd Lt. Jeremiah McGraw '09 ORM, the Palm Beach Atlantic University Alumni Association offers the Jerms McGraw Second Chance Scholarship. Known by his nickname "Jerms," Lt. McGraw was a student in the MacArthur School of Leadership at PBA, while serving as a Marine reservist, part of the 4th ANGLICO unit in West Palm Beach. Lt. McGraw died on Sept. 10, 2009 during a training exercise in Central Florida while serving his country. He was 22.

Week" at PBA, the culture of a different region of the world was celebrated each day with music, food and cultural dress -- such as the by the Japanese Taiko Drummers. Taiko is a musical art form that builds on a 2600-year-old tradition of Japanese drumming. The event was held on the Rinker Green in front of the Lassiter Student Center.

Palm Beach Atlantic University student-athletes gave a helping hand Feb. 23, 2012 during Conniston Community Middle School's FCAT Family Night Extravaganza in association with the Parker Avenue Consortium. Free dinner was served compliments of Tim Gannon, the co-founder of Outback Steakhouse and creator of the nonprofit organization Kettle Comfort. The organization committed to using kettle equipment and technology to feed 20000-30000 people per day. Conniston is a neighbor of PBA's Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Athletic Campus in West Palm Beach. PBA has engaged in a community partnership called the Parker Avenue Consortium, which benefits the families living in the vicinity of the athletic campus.

Palm Beach Atlantic University's School of Music and Fine Arts hosts the sixth annual Palm Beach Atlantic International Piano Festival Feb. 21-28, 2012. In this video clip, famed ICPA professor Philippe Entremont works with a student during one of the master classes. A high school concert is scheduled for 7:30 pm on Saturday, Feb. 25, in the Helen K.
