A police chase traversed the Las Vegas valley, April 6 2012. It ended safely with no injuries to officers and two arrests. The suspects' truck weaved in and out of traffic at speeds topping 100 miles per hour. With this dramatic ending you can see here. The chase traveled from Las Vegas to Henderson to the outskirts of Boulder City. Police say the suspects were seen around 1:45 pm stealing air conditioning units from a vacant home. As police arrived there, one of Metro's Air Units spotted the truck fleeing the scene. Metro followed the truck from the air for almost two hours, as the suspects attempted to escape. The criminals were able to keep it going for an additional 150 miles. At one point, an officer tried to flatten the truck's tires with stop-sticks. The truck raced down surface streets, squeezing between traffic, knocking off mirrors. This led to a collision with another vehicle in the middle of the intersection. I´m not really familiar with all the tricks to build an acceptable car model, but sometimes i just give it a try and i´m usually satisfied with the result. After i built the Opel Admiral a while ago i some sort of "waited" til the next interesting car model was released by ICM. This time i bought the Mercedes-Benz 770K. You can find a kit review in the video answers to this video. The assembly wasn´t easy due to the amount of parts. I also had to work very careful, because i wanted to maintain a perfect even look of the car. I painted the model with acrylic paints from Revell. The Mercedes-Benz 770, also known as the Großer Mercedes (large Mercedes) was a luxury automobile built by Mercedes-Benz from 1930 to 1943. It is probably best known from archival footage of high-ranking Nazi officials before and during World War II, including Adolf Hitler and Hermann Göring. One day after Jesse Ventura lost his legal challenge to airport pat-downs and full-body scans, the former Minnesota governor declared Friday that he will "never fly commercial again" and just might run for president so he can change passenger security measures. Ventura made his comments outside the federal courthouse in St. Paul, where in January he sued to challenge the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) airport security procedures. The suit was thrown out because Congress set up the law so that all such challenges must be brought directly in Circuit Courts of Appeals, wrote US District Judge Susan Richard Nelson. After getting a titanium implant in his hip in 2008, Ventura's suit said, he started lighting up airport magnetometers. At first, screeners waved a magnetic hand wand over him and sent him through.
