I had an opportunity to take the new 2013 Subaru BRZ (Scion FRS) around NOLA track. This is the 3rd lap with a professional driver as the passenger giving the directions. He was quite cool and collected the entire time. I hit speeds over 100 mph in the straight aways and the braking and handling on this car is insanely fantastic. On a very rainy Tuesday, May 22, 2012, Big Jim Video Productions was proud and thrilled to be a part of the second day of Lerro Productions' photo charter at the Valley Railroad in Essex, CT. The first day consisted of a mixed freight consist, while the second day featured an all-green passenger consist, including a beautiful Pullman car at the end of the train. While I was unable to attend the first day's festivities, the rain did not dampen my parade (so to speak), as the newly-restored 2-8-2 Mikado #3025 (in New Haven livery) pulled a rare southbound train throughout the day. The engines on this line normally face northbound, so to get the engine facing southbound is something that may rarely (if ever) happen again. This is one of the best charters I have ever been on, even with the rain! Enjoy this HD footage...thanks to Pete Lerro and the whole Lerro Productions crew!

OK here is my Veltop bike with the extra bike umbrella holder that I used to prevent the movement of Veltop windscreen when hitting a bump in the road.This is what it now looks like with the top down.Although a heavy bike (70.5 pounds weighed) surprisingly I am carrying a lot of accessories (some that I may not need).Yes the Veltop cover,side curtains and fiberglass rods are in the yellow bag and so is my rain cape and gloves too. Total weight (mass) with me on it is 303 pounds ( I am wearing heavy boots too) so I have to take it easy (still trying to lose body weight it's working!). Definitely far less in mass than me and a wasteful heavy electric car such as the Nissan LEAF which is way less energy efficient than this due to its overall mass (vehicle + driver or other occupants (not usually likely though but multiple occupancy is desired for better efficiency per passenger per miles traveled) .This is also much more energy efficient than a heavier 49 cc gas powered scooter or an...
