I am approaching 6 weeks post relaxer and my hair was air dried prior to my twist out (which was 3 days old in this video) My twist out became so hard to manage on day 3 because of my intense work outs so I came up with this quick cute protective style! Ideally, I try to have a spa-night once a week, but that never happens. It's really good to hydrate and treat your skin generously in order to receive a flawless glow. Step 1: Remove eye/face make up with eye-make up remover, cleanser, makeup wipes. Step 2: Apply a mask. You can either use a sheet mask (peel off) or scrub off. Step 3: Use a toner - apply however you wish. I find the best way to do this is with a cotton ball. Step 4: Hydrate hair using a hair mask. I apply the mask to my dry hair and then wrap it in a hot towel for 10 minutes before getting in the shower. An alternative is to shampoo your hair in the shower, then apply the hair mask and keep it in a shower cap for 10 minutes, then rinse. Rinse is the key word- do not completely wash it out.
