We created this documentary around the time SOPA was on the run. we turned the documentary into a mocumentary by having actors and creating our own scenario about SOPA. Reflection- I felt this was one of the better projects this year. I was satisfied with how it turned out. The only thing i would have changed would be actors. Also work earlier and have a "concrete" schedule.

I filmed this for a graduate class at ULL and hope to finish it (with better sound quality) in the near future. 1.0 is a mocumentary about Devin Choir, a business executive with a major ego, who has been informed that his college made a mistake and he actually is 3 credits short of earning his degree. Therefore, he must put his job on hold, temporarily, to take the necessary Intro Anthropology course over the summer. What Devin doesn't know is that Steve Bukowski, his former college roommate, is his teacher. Because of all the horrible things Devin did to him as a roommate, Steve wants to get back at Devin. As part of the class requirement, Devin must write a 20 page paper, take a number of quizzes, and film a video diary of himself for the 8 week semester not using modern forms of technology, including a computer, TV, iPod, car, and cell phone. Without such tools, he must function in society and do his best to develop a love interest with someone he meets in the library so she can...
