For weeks I wondered what makeup look I should wear for my graduation then I briefly remembered what my sister wore for her graduation, a smokey brown look that was surprisingly simple but made the eyes elegantly beautiful. Prior to grad day, I'd already practiced doing the look several times and was able to come up with my own version. This is what I share with you in this video. Everybody loves a change. Right? My last haircut barely did anything for me and my hair basically ended up growing back anyway. I super duper love my long hair, except for the fact that it's growing too long for me to manage. I decided that getting a trim / medium cut would be stupid because my hair would still end up looking long. Plus my hair grows incredibly fast anyway so if I didn't like my cut, I could always grow it out. I've always wanted to try this haircut (watch video!) for the longest time and I'm glad I finally had it done! I know it may not be the prettiest 'do to sport but I guess what's really important is that I like it. This is as dark as it can go without compromising the quality, hope it's good enough! :) I had the hardest time coming up with a name for this look and ended up with "Urban Splash" by putting the two main eyeshadow names together. I know it's corny but I think it sounds okay, and I'd rather have that than an accurate but lengthy title of what this look is about: a simple green smokey eye with a subtle dark taupe crease cut. I've always struggled with my small, hooded eyes. In pictures, they tend to shrink to nothing especially when I smile big. In this video, I show you what I do to enhance my eyes to make them appear bigger, brighter, and beautiful. This 2-part tutorial will show you how to achieve this look which you can wear during the day (using neutrals) and the evening (with purple smokes). I've always wanted to try out short curls but never had the courage to have my hair cut. This tutorial is what I've managed to do with my long hair to make it appear short and curly! It's quite a tedious process (especially the curling part) but the faux bob itself is actually pretty easy to do. If your hair is already naturally curly, then achieving the short-hair look should be a breeze. Try this look for formal occasions and night-outs. You can even loosen it up a bit to make it look like a messy semi-updo. For us girls who are committed to our long locks, short curls are possible after all.
