Recorded at a sound-check at the Alley Theatre, Strabane, County Tyrone - October 2011. Four Men and a Dog is an Irish traditional band that emerged in 1990 during the Belfast Folk Festival. The band plays Irish traditional music with a mixture of different other genres, including rock, jazz, blues, bluegrass, swing, salsa, polka and even rap. They originally had their name because of former singer Mick Daly's nick; "The Black Dog". Mick is now replaced with Kevin Doherty. They met the famous group The Band in 1994, and recorded their album Doctor A's Secret Remedies at Levon Helm's studio in Woodstock, NY, with musical guests Garth Hudson and Randy Ciarlante. Rick Danko has joined Four Men and a Dog on a UK tour where they played some of The Band's classics. Cathal Hayden (fiddle) Gerry O'Connor (banjo, fiddle) Gino Lupari (bodhran, bones, vocals) - Substituted here by Jim Higgins of Oranmore Kevin Doherty (guitar, vocals) Donal Murphy (accordion)

Muy buena presentación de The Mission en la celebración de sus 25 años de carrera, en el Teatro Caupolicán, el 24 Mayo 2012, en Santiago de Chile. Me gusto las versiones que hicieron en vivo y la cercanía con el público, incluso cuando regalo la mitad de la botella de vino que disfrutaba Wayne Hussey, el vocalista o la intro con Dead Can Dance, esas luces a nivel de piso me recordaron a unos videos de Sisters of Mercy, hay que recordar que dos de sus integrantes también fueron parte de aquella banda. Los otros miembros son Simon Hinkler (guitarra) y Craig Adams (bajo) y Mick Brown (baterista)

The Kinks were an English rock band formed in Muswell Hill, North London, by brothers Ray and Dave Davies in 1964. Categorised in the United States as a British Invasion band, The Kinks are recognised as one of the most important and influential rock acts of the era. Their music was influenced by a wide range of genres, including rhythm and blues, British music hall, folk and country. Ray Davies (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and Dave Davies (lead guitar, vocals) remained members throughout the group's 32-year run. Original members Pete Quaife (bass guitar, vocals) and Mick Avory (drums and percussion) were replaced by John Dalton in 1969 and Bob Henrit in 1984, respectively. Dalton was in turn replaced by Jim Rodford in 1978. Keyboardist Nicky Hopkins accompanied the band during studio sessions in the mid-1960s. Later, various keyboardists, including John Gosling and Ian Gibbons, were full-time members.
