This video gives you a quick outline of the highlights and lowlights from today's MotoTT trackday at Taupo Motorsport Park. It was the day MotoTT was to draw their annual grand prize draw winner of a Suzuki SV650 I was lucky enough to have been picked. ELATION!! TOTALLY STOKED, most valuable thing I've ever won in my life! Nek Minnit, session five rolls along, first lap, turn three and what I initially thought was the front tucking in, looks more like the rear stepped out. Was travelling around 100km/h (62 mph) and guess my cold tyres were no match for the cold track. GUTTED!!! Not sure whether to laugh or cry... Walked away fine but bike has seen better days. If I hadn't won the SV650S I think I'd be crying myself to sleep for weeks.
