As a native Michigander, it feels rather obligatory to take a look at the series "Motorcity". Now to see if this Detroit cartoon races to the top of Disney XD, or fizzles out in the fast lane. (I don't think I emphasize this enough in the video, but the animation is a delicious blend of Flash and CGI that I've yet to see pulled off before. The camera movements, action choreography and grand spectacle of the animation is well worth the watch. And as a hardcore Flash hater in the past years, that's gotta mean something.) "Motorcity" is produced by Titmouse Animation, and is currently airing on Disney XD (Thurdays at 9PM EST). "First Frames" is a reaction video that looks at the first episode of animated shows. Giving the highlights of the series' pilot episode, one can gauge whether the show looks interesting enough to continue watching. Relatively spoiler free and a chance to see some unbridled animation reactions.

TheGreatNude crew headed downtown to an art event called "Adult Life Drawing" last summer, presented by the Zoppa Brothers, who have created a wonderfully theatrical experience that has become a favorite "Night Out" for fans of TheGreatNude.tv here in NYC. The Zoppas have been holding these events for several years now, assembling a dozen young models from the "Adult Video" industry into a room full of eager, seriously minded artists, all ready to draw from the live nude model. Many of the models are made more interesting for their unusual anatomical features, and the wide range of accompanyting body piercings and tatoos. (Think Egon Schiele with a modern twist!) Que up the excellent house music, and a glass of red wine, and you're ready for a night of intense, fast-paced drawing. This was a colorful, baudy show staged in a modern cavernous space. Models posed for 5, 10, and 20 minutes sets that benefited from some very appreciated art direction.

Wait... why did I replay a lot of those moves multiple times? Anyway, this was unexpected. A few hours after uploading the video where I'd reached level 25, I decided to play this game again, and reached level 26. Most of this particular attempt wasn't that interesting compared to my previous video, so I didn't think it was worth uploading the entire thing. Some interesting things happened in the last few levels, though... And yet again I lose because of a rather avoidable mistake (I should have matched the red bomb then the blue bomb for those last two moves). Though it probably didn't matter too much, since the green bomb likely would have ended the game one turn later anyway. I wonder why the score shrinks at 2 million points? It seems it would make more sense for that to occur at 10 million... (About that, I wonder where this game's score maxes out? Bejeweled 3 apparently goes all the way up to 2147483647 according to a video I saw...)
