Well Porsche is happy to announce that their $845000 baby the 918 Spyder, is now finished. This plug-in hybrid packs a 570 horsepower 4 Liter V8 engine in addition to it's TWO electric motors. Put those ingredients together and you get a 3.1 second 0-60 time, and a top speed of 199 miles per hour. Running only on electric, the 918 will still get up to a healthy 94 miles per hour, and apparently can deliver around 78 miles per gallon when not, you know, racing. I guess we shouldn't be surprised that Porsche is the first one to put all the right ingredients into a sports car package that actually makes a hybrid seem cool. Okay now it's time for you guys to choose though. Let's say you're given a million dollar budget that you can only spend on a car.
