This is another standard Mitsubishi elevator in the 1980s located at a commercial building near the intersection of Omotesando, Tokyo. The most interesting thing of this elevator is that the car is round-shaped, which is commonly called "tubular elevator". While most modern tubular elevators are hydraulic, this one is a traction (rare and not common!). This elevator is somehow reminds me of the two prominent scenic elevators at the Marina Square mall in Singapore, which were installed in 1986 before it was demolished when the mall is underwent a major renovation in 2006.
