Original broadcast on KINC TV-15 (Univision), May 18, 2012--KINC- TV-15 undertook a live news broadcast at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, Nev. to report on the first-ever mariachi and ballet folklórico concert at the newly-opened facility. Students from the Clark County School District's Mariachi and Ballet Folklórico program performed together with world renowned Mariachi Cobre and the Clark High School Symphony Orchestra. The concert was organized by the Las Vegas Latin Chamber of Commerce.

As a special treat during the Sheridan High School Orchestra Concert, Director Razmick Sarkissian introduced Mr. Lincoln Carrol who led the orchestra with his cello in "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." The 5-year old Lincoln attends kindergarten at Sheridan Wyoming's Sagebrush Elementary School.

This is my performance at Michigan Youth Arts Festival. I competed with 83 of the top high school musicians in the state, moved on to be in the final 10, then performed again and got chosen as one of the four instrumentalist concerto winners. There was also a trumpet player, a cellist and a violinist. There was also a separate vocalist (: They all did amazing! I had the opportunity to perform my solo with the Western Michigan University Symphony Orchestra at the Gala Concert at the Michigan Youth Arts Festival.
