I have been trying to put together a QL#327 Coleman Lantern. It had a R55 generator on it. It worked pretty good that way. I ordered a Q99 from tvyps at ebay. She was curious how it would work. Here it is. I also quickly showed my sheet metal repair on the ventilator. Anyway, After pumping only 16 times, I preheated the loop for 2 minutes with a fireplace lighter, I opened the valve for one full second (with the lighter still goin, shut it off and let it light itself. It was smooth as all get out. A few more successful lights like that and I'll get me a Fred Kuntz Reproduction Mica Globe. I couldn't be happier with this lantern.
