Facebook was already semi-public When Google (GOOG +0.22%) went public in 2004, there wasn't a highly developed market for shares of private companies. Now, exchanges like SecondMarket and SharesPost allowed insiders to cash out and institutional investors to buy in before Facebook went public. These markets had driven up Facebook's price 13-fold in four years of private trading, Bloomberg reported, and that took the wind out of the IPO's sails. 2. Later with the addition of a turn table and speaker we managed to get a fairly good quality sound from it. Although finding a quadrophonic record or "Quadradisc" is going to be a real struggle we may never hear it's true potential.

This is the new 2012 Cars 2 movie moments package with (what package claims to have) an exclusive vehicle of Brent Mustangburger and Darrell Cartrip. Both these cars are 1:55 scale diecast and they are exactly the same as the 2011 package. Also with the same facial expression. Brent Mustangburger is a reporter in the World Grand Prix. He is going to replace Bob Cutlass on the RSN stage. Darrell Cartrip is an announcer at the Piston Cup 500 race. He is a 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and a former Piston Cup 500 racer. His name is a play on former NASCAR racer and Fox Sports commentator Darrell Waltrip, who provides the character's voice. Cartrip utters, "Boogity boogity boogity!" as the tiebreaker race starts; the real-life Waltrip is also known to use the phrase at the start of every NASCAR race on Fox. 5/23/12: Four March 28th Survivor Ducks at 8 weeks - they and their Step-Mama were paddling down around the Guenther St boat landing - hadn't seen them that far down the river before. A male was hanging around that Step-Mama chased away each time he got close - he might be their 'for real' Papa but, without some tagging or GPS device attached to ID each duck, we can't know for sure. Step-Mama wouldn't chase her mate, Step-Papa, away.

5/22/2012: Please ignore the video narrative regarding the identity of these four ducks - they are more likely NOT THE four Survivor Ducks hatched on March 13th - rather these are four adult (or close to adult) ducks with black tails that have been fooling me for a couple weeks - fooling me because they stay together and look more like females than males - something normally only associated with young ducks. The 'for real' four Survivor Ducks were last seen the prior night on their 69th day UNEXPECTEDLY flying off to the south after Mama duck.
