The most popular bouquet style is the nosegay which is made up of densely packed flowers and greenery. Posies are smaller than a nosegay but are alike in design. Round bouquets are also similar to nosegay's but with an emphasis on keeping a perfectly round shape. Composite bouquets are made up of different petals and buds wired together to look like one giant flower. These are more labor intensive which tend to make them higher in price. A pomander is a ball of flowers suspended from a ribbon and commonly carried by flower girls. Pageant bouquets are groupings of long stemmed flowers and are carried by cradling them in your arms. Lastly, a cascading bouquet is made up of long-stemmed blooms or ivy, and is wired to cascade over the hands. Bouquets to Art is a five-day visually stunning annual flower festival, sponsored by the San Francisco Auxiliary of Fine Arts Museums and held at the de Young Museum. The San Francisco Flower Mart proudly sponsors the floral demonstrations held at the de Young during that week. This year we've put together this video highlighting our presenters Shane Connolly, Emily Thompson and Ron Morgan. The main BTA exhibit offers a floral perspective on classical works of art, world famous African art, art interpretation, and pulls inspiration from the de Young art display. With 150 artist's work on display, the floral artists are paired with their favorite de Young's permanent collection of paintings and from there, create their own floral interpretation.

Imagine all the people, living life with peace ☮ I was scrolling down my floral heaven filled with some of my favorite things on the internet which shan't be named and "IMAGINE" come out. The first thing which popped into my head was this song by John. It's a stripped down cover with completely no background music. I'm planning to do another cover in the future. If you've not noticed or just curious, my nasal voice screws up everything. I'm still suffering from inflammation with my eustachian tube and have flu going on for the past couple of weeks. I couldn't hear the song properly with the minor details which I simply love every time I hear,when I sing thanks to my clogged eustachian tubes. So boohoo. S/N: I bet when my mom hears this she'd be stunned as I was when I heard my own recording, I sound EXACTLY like her.
