Gailen talks about his flight that was forced to make an emergency landing. Although the local airport staff did a wonderful job, the airlines headquarters made decisions that eventually delayed the passengers' arrival to the final destination by 24 hours.

The welcome home ceremony for the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight on April 28, 2012 at Mitchell Airport in Milwaukee, WI. Even though the flight was delayed about three hours due to mechanical issues, hundreds (if not thousands) of people stuck around to cheer and celebrate the return of the veterans. Stars and Stripes Honor Flights fly WWII and terminally ill veterans to Washington DC (at no cost to the veterans) and takes them around the city to visit the monuments dedicated to the veterans of the wars they fought in. For many of the veterans, it is the first time they have seen the monuments, and for far too many of them, this is likely the last big trip they will go on.

The launch of the American SpaceX company's re-supply mission to the International Space Station (ISS) has been delayed by at least three days. The company was forced to abort the flight just as its Falcon rocket was about to leave the pad at Florida's Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Early data indicated unusual pressure readings in one of the nine engine combustion chambers under the vehicle. The company says it hopes to try again on Tuesday or Wednesday. "We had a nominal countdown, right until about T-minus point-five-seconds," explained SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell. "The engine controller noted high chamber pressure in engine five; software did what it was supposed to do - aborted engine five, and then we went through the remaining engine shut-down," she told reporters. This is Jet Times OY-JTF who is a Boeing 737-382QC So it can quickly becoming a cargo flight! OY-JTF is take off, from Billund airport as JTG531 to Palma de Mallorca! This flight was 1½h delayed as the flight it just had been on did not get departed as the slot time went by. But we had a great flight, after landing i was in the cockpit and talked with the pilots! Gonna take the same flight to august!
