A short film "Sisters" that i wrote & produced for a university project recently. It tells the tale of two very close siblings Lizzie who is 14 and Kary who is 21. Kary looks after Lizzie since their parents are no longer with them, and with the case of Lizzie falling sick, this really tests her responsibilities as an older sister. However, being young herself and landing a placement in a new job, she forgets her priorities and ends up neglecting Lizzie who is stuck at home all day alone due to her health conditions. Somehow Kary senses that her being away so much will affect Lizzie and so buys her a Panda stuffed toy to make up for her presence, but as much as an inanimate can become good company for a young girl like Lizzie, sometimes it's just not enough. However, Lizzie doesn't say a word to Kary believing that she will realise how Lizzie is feeling soon enough, but as weeks and months pass and the mountain of toys build up - its evident that she doesn't.
