Each riff starts with the FPC, then the FDR. First settings are at noon on each each amp, then I fiddle with FPC to get it closer to FDR sound. Then at end I switch FPC to gain channel with the Drive on 2 and mid boost button engaged which gets even closer to FDR sound. 69 FDR and early 90's USA tank reverb FPC. Hwy 1 Strat

The Tenth Annual Henry Reed Memorial Fiddlers Convention will held in Glen Lyn, VA on June 8-9, 2012. This festival honors the life and music of local old-time fiddler Henry Reed and is proud to reach the decade mark! Friday's activities will began at 5 PM and will start with a set of featured bands, including the Reed Family Band, the Crooked Road Ramblers, and State Line Bluegrass. Individual and band competitions will be held on Saturday. Alan Jabbour will offer a 2-day fiddle workshop from 10-12 on Friday and Saturday morning. And, Kerry Varble was the Winner saying that a Sally Growler is an ugly fish. Greg Fisher got a second place win (sorry, no prize for second place) by telling me that a Growler is a refillable beer container. So, as the winner of the Sally Growler contest, Kerry got to pick today's tune. She picked Peaches and Honey, and she wanted me to call it Peaches and Honey instead of Peaches and Cream. Personally, I think that peaches are sweet enough on their own, and I would rather have cream on my peaches than honey, but since she won, I gave her the naming choice honor as well.
