This video is a short review of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Text from my review from the audio clip is as follows: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a single player RPG that took about 40 hours for me to complete on hard difficulty, using the Might ability and having about 1300 armor from Blacksmithing and Sagecraft skill selections. It is worth purchasing simply for its map exploration, which offers about the same amount of freedom to travel as Skyrim, surpassing those of Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Mass Effect 3. Whether you like to become a master at Blacksmithing, Sagecraft, or Alchemy, this game has it all and is comparable in that respect to Skyrim. The game has nice music too which brings to life its fantasy setting. The game also has impressive sound and physic effects when confronting a handful of enemies, or when observing a war scene with armies of NPCs below (for example, on the bridge towards battling the Witch Knight Malwyn, before the battle with Balor). Sok könyvet olvastam már a témában, sok filmet és játékot daráltam le az évek során, de szinte minden egyes alkotásnál megvoltak a kötelező klisék, s csupán a megvalósításban tértek el egymástól. Nem tudom, hogy az alapokat Tolkien fektette-e le, az viszont biztos, hogy majdnem az összes ilyen műfajban játszódó történetben fellelhetőek ugyanazok az elemek: békés vidék, amelyet a gonosz erők fenyegetnek. Egy sötét úr, akinek a célja a világmindenség elpusztítása. Egy bátor hős, aki akaratán kívül csöppen a harcokba, de kitart, s hosszú utazásra szánja el magát, amelynek a végén a megváltás várja a vidéket. Nyilván vannak kivételek, nem beszélve arról, hogy nekem semmi bajom sincs ezzel a felállással, mindenesetre egy kis fűszerezést elbírna már a műfaj, hiszen előbb-utóbb mindenre rá lehet unni.
