More review tinyurl.com Customer Reviews: "The Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II is an excellent value in that of a jazz guitar. It is a hollowbody instrument that has been manufactured for many years, which tells me that it's reputation for quality has stood the test of time. The quality of the sound that is produced by the instrument makes it a fine choice for someone who is beginning to study jazz and who wants a good, entry-level jazz guitar, for not alot of money. I compared the level of output of the Joe Pass with that of an Epiphone Dot, which is a semi-hollowbody jazz-like instrument, and in my opinion, the output level of the Joe Pass is superior. The Joe Pass also impressed me favorably because to my ears it produces deeper bass than the Dot. The Joe Pass is also a very impressive guitar to behold. It is a handsome instrument, either as in the vintage sunburst finish, or as in the natural (blond) finish. All things considered, you will not go wrong with this guitar." Product...

More review is.gd Customer Reviews: "I bought my Epiphone Casino about five years ago. I was orignally attracted to the cosmetics, and it was a cheaper, thinner, hollowbody.THere's a surprising range of tone you can get out of those two P-90s. The feel was great too. Had a real low action. Honestly, I never had a problem with the guitar, though if the inpur jack were to fall in the body... or a pot... well, you can imagine the nightmare that would be. Never happened in the five years I owned my Casino. The only downside to this guitar is that the combination of P-90s and hollowbody doesn't stand up too well to high-gain music. If that's your style, beware; this guitar will feedback." "I've owned my casino for around 8 years now. She puts out those rich warm tones that only guitars in the gibson family can give. The only trouble I've had so far is the electronic. The pots and toggle switch have needed to be replaced, but from what I've been told that is fairly common for semi-hollow...

A Benedetto or L5 was way out of the budget, and so I found my way to the Broadway a little over two years ago. It was a happy find. This guitar is built solidly: once I set it up I've had to do very little with neck tension or bridge height. It's not perfect out of the box, but necessary adjustments are simple for the most part. The factory strings are junk and too thin for a guitar of this sort. After trying several sets, I settled on D'Addario EJ22 Jazz Medium Nickel Steel Electric Guitar Strings (.013-.056). Big strings bring out the tone of this nice guitar. Pickup selector switches are a weak area for Epiphone as well. Mine gave out after a year or so and I replaced it with a Switchcraft. I've made a number of other small modifications, just to suit my own preferences. FWIW, I've paired it with a Roland Cube 80X...

Please find for details here tinyurl.com Customer Reviews: "I just received this guitar a few days ago. Aside from needing a few minor adjustments (intonation, action, etc.) everything is perfect. Although it's not a true Gibson, this guitar is beautifully crafted, and a 399, an absolute steal. It is an extremely versatile instrument. Sounds great for jazz, blues, rock, and even metal. The clean tones are very warm and creamy, but crank it up to 11, and this baby screams! I would absolutely recommend this guitar for players at all levels.Another thing to note-this instrument shipped directly from Amazon, and let me tell you--the shipping was very fast, and the packaging was outstanding. I'm a US Soldier stationed in the Middle-East, and the time it took for me to receive this guitar from the time I placed my order was 9 days. Considering the way our mail system works, that is lightning fast. And it was very carefully packaged, so it made the voyage over here in immaculate...

Please find for details here tinyurl.com Customer Reviews: "This is an amazing guitar. With 10's it melts like butter in your hands. It resonates beautifully and is perfect for Jazz, Blues, Rockabilly, Beatles, whatever you like. The neck is ALMOST like an SG. You can almost shred with it but you're likely to get feedback because it's such a resonate hollow body. Mine is a Korean 2003 and I've played it so much I've worn out some of the frets. You might want to replace the pots and switch but the p90's sing. I've never played the Made in China or Made anywhere else ones. I assume the Made in America/England would be better and the China might be of lesser quality. Or maybe it varies from guitar to guitar. All I know is I usually hate Epiphones with a passion but I love my Casino." "I understand that this is not the American made version of the Casino and I don't care. This is a great guitar period. It is light, sounds wonderful, looks beautiful and is easy to play too. The Beatle...

I wanted something for recording with a different sound that you don't hear every day. This is perfect. I play mostly through a '76 Fender Twin Reverb and/or '73 MusicMan 212, with the bass/treb/mid all at 10. Set that way I get the perfect John Lennon sound, ("I've got a Feeling", "Get Back", "Don't Let Me Down"). I know John played a Casino, but I get closer to his sound using the Joe Pass on the bridge pickup, than I do using my Casino. Very cool. ....and the neck pickup is great for fat clean rhythm work. Sheer magic through a chorus pedal. Wow." Product Description Epiphone Emperor Late guitar legend Joe Pass lends his name to one of our most popular archtops. Guitar Review: Epiphone is owned by gibson, This guitar plays great and in some occasions plays like a Gibson 335. I heard through some friends that if you change the wiring of the Epiphone's you will have a Gibson. Now of coarse the wood is not the same/ But the sound is very close. The 335 with fancier appointments. View all items from this brand Introduced in 1958, the Gibson ES-355 was the deluxe version of the ES-335, boasting gold hardware, multi-ply body and neck binding, as well as an ebony fretboard with mother-of-pearl neck and headstock inlays. Like that original model, this Epi version also comes with a Bigsby tailpiece. It's powered by 2 Alnico Classic humbuckers with Alnico V magnets, patterned after the original Gibson '57 Classics. Premium features include a SlimTaper '60s D-profile neck, Grover 14:1 tuners, and LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge. New and best offer j.mp Customer Reviews: "I purchased my Dot Studio new from a Guitar Center. Once in every other blue moon, a guitarist picks up a guitar and something magical happens; the guitar just feels "right" in his hands and body. That is the only way I can describe my experience with my Dot. A couple of things need to be understood here. 1) I am not an Epiphone kind of guy. I have always gravitated to Fenders or custom luthier made instruments (I built a few and fix a pile of stringed instruments). 2) I am definitely not a "Made in China" kind of guy either. Yes, the Epi Dot Studio is made,.... there. 3) The Dot Studio finish (worn brown, worn cherry and worn brown burst) suck. Not that the finish is applied poorly, it's just too Early American furniture looking for me. Having said that, I can bypass all the negativity about this guitar based on "how" I buy guitars. I buy them because they feel and play well. Call me strange, but I still like people with character rather...

New and best offer tinyurl.com Customer Reviews: "This instrument really sounds and looks amazing. When I saw the price, I was very surprized, expecting a 450 tag - it was actually 300. After playing the guitar on an amp with all possible effects on it, I was able to prove to myself that it can produce the sounds for any type of music - from hard rock to fusion to vintage rock'n'roll. It is not only a heavy metal guitar, although it can handle the genre with total ease. The guitar's powerful output make it a perfect axe for fusion. The guitar is contoured like the Fender Stratocaster, but this is where the similarities end:a) the high-quality Schecter twin humbuckers produce that thick Gibson soundb) the high-gloss black body has a carved arch top, and the neck is angled back, just as on a Les Paul.c) the strings go through the body for increased sustain and cool looke) the neck is bolted 24-fret, giving more elbow room for playing higher upd) the headstock is smaller, more...

New and best offer tiny.cc Customer Reviews: "After owning a few budget ES-175-style guitars (such as the Ibanez Artcore series), I was skeptical that Epi's new offering could bring the ES-175 playability and tone at this price point. I bought one yesterday after playing a few in a showroom - this guitar ROCKS, and beats the price of imitators. I don't know how they can offer this guitar at this price.I do suggest you go into a showroom and ask to play several of them; the wood pattern & quality of the top and back varied widely from guitar to guitar. I played a few acoustically until I gravitated towards one that had a sweeter midrange than the others, and overall sounded more "open" and "woody" than others, some of which sounded rather dull.If you are interested in an ES-175 style guitar, now there's no reason to buy an imitation. At this quality, I'd imagine that someone who owns a vintage Gibson ES175 (which may cost more than many people's cars) and doesn't want to take it to...

New and best offer tinyurl.com Customer Reviews: "This is a Les Paul style copy made in China. It is a little lighter than a standard Les Paul, and doesnt have the same amount of sustain as a Les Paul, but the craftsmanship is good, and the finish is good. The tuners have a lot of play in them, if you are a serious guitar player, you will probably replace them. The pickups are not very bright in tone, somewhat muddy, but okay if you use a distortion pedal. You would have to replace the pickups if you want a good bright metal tone. The bridge will have to be adjusted when you first receive it for the best intonation, this isn't difficult to do, but if you dont know how, just take it to a music store and have a pro do it, it will be worth it. Out of the box, it is playable, and good for a beginner or hobbyist. If you get more serious, you will want to consider new tuners, and maybe new pickups, or just move up to a better guitar. This is about the same as an Epiphone Les Paul Special...

New and best offer j.mp Customer Reviews: "The FA 71 is a lovely guitar. It is both beautiful to look at and to play. I believe that the acoustic sound is splendid, balanced and full, and the suspended pickup allows for a rich jazz-box tonal range. It is a physically large guitar, the size of a Gibson J-200, so anyone looking for a small, easily managed instrument should not consider this one. However, that said, I simply can't imagine this guitar not delighting anyone looking for a full-sized archtop. This leads to another detail. It doesn't come with a case, so I bought a Jumbo Epiphone case which fits it perfectly." Product Description Aria FA71 The FA-71's 17-inch body and arched spruce top provide the descriminating guitarist with a tone that is warm and smooth with surprising articulation. The single humbucker is the perfect way to amplify this delicious tone and the neck is fast. Try one and you will want to buy one!

New Release j.mp Customer Reviews: "I've wasted a lot of money trying to find a decent archtop in this price range and I have always been dissatisfied. I had an Epiphone ES-175, a Hofner Jazzica and a Club; I tried out the Epiphone Casinos, the Ibanez archtop range, and the Gretsch Electromatic series. All of them had various buzzes, muddy pickups, and other frustrating noises. They all sound lousy acoustically because they all have thick coats of polyurethane deadening the resonance of the wood, making them sound, feel, and play like toys.On the other hand, the Godin 5th Ave CW is everything I could have hoped for. It's beautiful to look at, it plays very comfortably, it isn't a labyrinth of pesky buzzes, it sounds great acoustically, it has a classy, smooth finish (not the 1/4" of shiny plastic), and the P90 pickups sound really sweet. I am positively astounded that I could get a guitar this great at such a low price.I'm sure there are a number of other people who are in the same...

New Release j.mp Customer Reviews: "I purchased the Godin KingPin II recently and could not be more blown away...the Guitar is beautiful, very playable and a great value!! I have a 1943 Epiphone Blackstone that I was considering converting with a floating P-90 with a volume and tone in a new pick guard. By the time I was to add new machine heads, nut and possible floating bridge it was easier to look for another guitar..that is when I found Godin KingPin....I loved the black one but honestly I was wishing they had one with 2 pickups...Low and behold they did....The KIngPin 2....I did my research and found a GREAT deal on a black one from UpFront Guitars...Gordon was great to deal with!! 3 days later it showed up!! Obviously I was very excited, but when I opened the box the guitar was in a CASE....it was a very basic case, but it was built for this guitar....when I opened it I was stunned....the guitar was beautiful....I literally walked pass my fiance' without even a kiss and right...

Here... www.nevadamusic.co.uk The Epiphone Wildkat is truly an Epiphone original! This smaller-body, semi-hollow guitar has great vintage sound and is remarkably comfortable to play! Epiphone is a leader in archtop design and has been since the 1930's . An early pioneer in archtops even before they were electrified, Epiphone was never afraid to do something out of the ordinary. With no notable changes in archtop design by anybody in decades, Epiphone took the archtop and practically married it to a solid body guitar. The Wildkat now takes its place among our all-time great designs. The Wildkat's innovative design starts with a solid piece of warm, sustain-rich mahogany that is computer-routed to create an acoustic guitar-like body except with a "center block" area like an ES-335. The body is then covered with a beautiful Antique Natural finish to create a semi-hollow body masterpiece. The Wildkat's mahogany body is matched with a hand-fitted, glued-in solid mahogany neck for maximum...
