Part 3 is taking longer than I anticipated, so I decided to do a quick "Missing Links" mini movie. I think I'll try to do a few of these to quickly showcase one particular animal's evolutionary history. One of the most amazing things about evolution is that we can look back through the fossil record and see how it changed organisms. I was so scared when this elephant started charging our vehicle while on an African Safari. I didn't know at the time that when an elephant's ears are out and big, as in this video, the elephant is just trying to scare you. I learned that it's when their ears are flat against their body that it is a "real" charge.
