PLEASE READ. This is a heartbreaking thing for me, having to sell windy. He's taught me so much in the past four years and now i have to say goodbye. My dream is to bring on a youngster and to do this i have to sell windy, he's taught me all he can now and i believe going to the right home he'll do the same to someone else. Windy is a 14.2hh irish cob X, his colouring is an unusual and beautiful bay roan and he is 16 years young, believe me when i say young as he does not act his age one bit! His striding is not much like a 14.2hh's as he does have a very large stride! He is very responsive and is not a novice ride, although with a confidant rider he could go far. He has competed in endurance (coming second in golden horseshoe), showjumping, cross country and dressage. He has been to ponyclub and ponyclub camp and also completed silver D of E on horseback! I did my first 2 phase (dressage and show jumping) with madison this past weekend - and I think we found our calling. We have been trying to fit into the hunter world, but thats just not where either of us want to be, or where we belong. Eventing is going to be a perfect fit, I can just feel it - I only wish we had discovered it sooner, now that i'm leaving for college in september ..... PS Epic HDness!! True that it's not all in focus - this is taken with my familys amazing new DSLR, but the one not so amazing bit is that it doesn't have auto focus :( ANYWAYY the pictures are beautiful, thank you mommy :D ps. LOL at my riding. I've always wanted to make a 'thank you' video for the amazing horses at my barn, but had never gotten around to it. This gives them absolutely no justice whatsoever, but it will do for now. These three horses have brought me farther in my riding career than I could ever imagine. For those of you who don't know, Simon is the bay Appendix, Tuffy is the chestnut QH, and Roxy is the chestnut Haflinger. These three have shaped me as a rider. Tuffy was the first horse that I ever leased. He made me grow up as a rider and as a person. He is the reason behind who I am today. He could make me and break me in a split second. This horse pushed my limits more than ever. He tested me and I pushed through. He had the ability to break my heart wide open, but gave me a shoulder to cry on at the same time. I wish that I could still ride him like I used to, but he was only a stepping stone. As a intermediate/beginner lesson horse at my barn, it would be useless to ride him anymore. I still carry all...
