Not a song as such, this is just some experimentation I did today when I should have been revising (hence the name) :P Sorta Djent y. Was trying out different time signatures...I used a total of 4 in the end I think ( 5/8, 6/4, 7/8 and 4/4) Also tried using a few tempo changes. My guitar was probably out of tune while recording some of this, I really need to get some new strings for the poor thing :S

I thought I'd do a comparison of 4 of my favourite sounds from Guitar Rig 4 for playing progressive metal in the form of what's now come to be known as 'Djent', the guitar tone and technique that's made bands like Periphery, Vildhjarta, Tesseract and Textures as popular as they now are! I do not claim to own the music in this, as the title of the video says and in the video too, the song is owned and written by Periphery! I thought I'd go with something popular that a few people might want to play! More to come soon and hopefully some more in depth reviews and demonstrations rather than just these short ones!
