This 10 minute HD video is a true binocular 3d recording of our 40th consecutive visit to the 2012 Dayton Hamvention. I was 21 in 1972 when I dragged my then girl friend along with me to pick up some TV equipment for ATV (anyone remember the old RCA CMU on 439mhz amateur television)? Even though she's never been interested in getting her license, she's been back with me every year since as my sweet little wife! The video was taken with two Panasonic TM900 HD cams with an ocular separation of 2.5"and my home-brewed mount which allows for parallax adjustments. I used Sony Vegas Pro 11 to assemble, synchronize, edit, and fine tune the + - parallax. The footage had to be compressed (AVCHD) and condensed in places in order to get the file small enough for me to upload to Youtube and thus suffers somewhat in quality compared to the original 3d clips.
