That, combined with HFS975's other signals - Baltimore's 97.5 and 106.5 HD2, and DC's 94.7 HD2 - plus the web would give the deserving station better exposure and bring the legendary WHFS call letters back to the DC-Baltimore area, where they belong. Arguably the best male vocal group produced by Motown, The Four Tops hold the distinction of being the longest-lived group in rock/soul history (41 years) without personnel change (1956-1997). Due in large part to Lead singer Levi Stubbs loyalty to his friends and fellow group members, Levi was offered many opportunities to go solo but refused to do so and stayed with them until illness and finally his death in 2008 separated him from his fellow Tops. The Four Tops reigned supreme from 1964-1967 during the height of the British musical invasion under the songwriting team of Holland Dozier Holland. Truly "till death do us part," group members Lawrence Albert Payton passed away in 1997, Renaldo, "Obie" Benson in 2005 and Levi in 2008. Surviving member Abdul "Duke" Fakir continues to tour holding the torch of the Four Tops high. Dave from Purple Valley auto got the GM Rochester carb off, and my 1982 OEM on! She runs much better now. The Rochester was dumping fuel like a crash landing airliner. Just need to adjust the low idle and plug up all of the 1982 vacuum lines.
