My entry for the Magician King song-writing contest. I have a few other songs available through my youtube channel. These other songs (which excludes this cover) will be included in my upcoming multimedia novel (movel), The Flight of the Angry Lesbians (FOAL). In short, FOAL is about a man that no one can pay attention to for more than three minutes. In not so short, it's also about dogs, deaf people, and hookers. And lesbians, of course. The text-only version of FOAL is available now in ebook format through your ebook vendor of choice. The movel, which will be the text novel with accompanying music, will be released in June for ibooks only. It will be available on Kindle, etc. as soon as I can figure out an easy way to publish to other formats. DC Johnson and Ron Rowan dream big. The Maple Grove couple recently completed a children's fantasy novel titled The Secret of MeadowBrook Orphanage. The book is set in the 1940s. It centers on a young brother and sister who are sent to an orphanage after their parents pass away. After they arrive, the children discover a secret world filled with magic. "They see something that's unbelievable - even to them," said Rowan, "but they need to believe it." This isn't Johnson's first foray into writing. She released a series of vampire books last year. The Secret of MeadowBrook Orphanage goes on sale this week and she and co-author Rowan it could be their "golden ticket" to success. "We're gold, we're ready to go," said Johnson, "and we hope that America jumps on board with us."
