On 5/23/12 President Obama gave a speech to the graduating cadets at the Air Force Academy. After the ceremony, he left for Colorado Springs Municipal Airport for a fundraiser in Denver that afternoon. I caught Mr. Obama motorcade on I-25 heading south, near Garden of the Gods Rd. This is the first time I've seen a presidential motorcade, and I'll say this, it was really cool to see.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has sent one of his deputies to Hawaii to accompany an official in his volunteer posse investigating President Barack Obama's birth certificate. The sheriff said earlier that no taxpayer money was being spent in the probe. "We're not out there for coconuts," said Arpaio. "Our guys are out there working." Arpaio says Tuesday that taxpayers won't ultimately foot the bill because the posse will reimburse his office for the deputy's trip to Hawaii this week.
